Sorry about the downtime - update: site back up now

UPDATE: The issues are fixed now, site is back up now. 

Apologies everyone, 

We made some changes to our database yesterday to improve performance and it seems that these have caused high load issues on the site.  Our engineers are working on fixing these as we speak and we'll try and bring the service back as quickly as possible. We'll update status on here.
